32. Santa Rosa County Courthouse

32. Santa Rosa County Courthouse. 6865 Caroline Street. 1927. Masonry Vernacular. This is the second courthouse in this location. The first was a two-story red brick structure built in 1877. It was tom down to build the new courthouse in 1927. The original 1927 building had a square footprint with identical facades on each elevation, with the county jail being located on a third story. In the 1960s the jail and its third story was removed and additions on the eastern and western elevations were added to the building.
