Sheridan's Campaign in the Shenandoah Valley, 1864.

On the site of this monument the regiment under command of Lieut. Col. T.B. Hamilton charged the enemy and recaptured two guns.
Marker is on Crawford Avenue (Driveway to John Weikert Farm), on the right when traveling north.
