93. I.M. Joespson's Dry Goods

I.M. Josephson's Dry Goods Building. 5234 Willing Street. 1892. Masonry Vernacular. An 1895 Sanborn Insurance Map indicates the building originally served as a dry goods store. Dry goods is a historic term for items such as textiles, ready to wear clothing, toiletries and other household goods. This building is thought to be the oldest building on North Willing Street.
