A.P. Hill Memorial
To the memory of A.P. Hill, Lt - Gen CSA
He was killed about 600 yards northwardly from this marker, being shot by a small band of stragglers from the Federal lines on the morning of April 2nd, 1865.
Erected by A.P. Hill Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans - Petersburg, Va.
Marker is at the intersection of Boydton Plank Road (U.S. 1) and Duncan Road (County Route 670), on the left when traveling west on Boydton Plank Road.
