Lincoln attended the Presbyterian Church at this location when he was in Danville attending court. He and Reverend Enoch Kingsbury were friends. Lincoln appointed Kingsbury Postmaster when he was elected President.
Marker is at the intersection of North Franklin Street and West North Street, on the left when traveling north on North Franklin Street.
