America's First Iron Steamboat
The "Cordorus," built in York by John Elgar, was launched at present-day Accomac, on the Susquehanna River, Nov. 22, 1825. the site is about two miles distant.
Marker is at the intersection of Lincoln Highway (Pennsylvania Route 462) and Blessing Road, on the right when traveling east on Lincoln Highway.
