Bell Predates the Civil War

In loving memory

David J. Dukes, M.D.

July 16, 1927 — June 15, 1991

Remembered for his love of music, church, sailing, family, and his fellow man.

The bell predates the Civil War and may have been in the First Methodist Church around the early 1800's when the first State Capitol was built in Corydon, Indiana.

Marker is at the intersection of East Beaver Street and North Elm Street, on the left when traveling east on East Beaver Street.
