Birthplace of William Henry Rinehart

1825–1874. Sculptor. He began his studies in Baltimore and in 1858 established a studio in Rome. Among his more important works are the monument to Chief Justice Taney in Annapolis and the completion of the bronze doors to the Capitol in Washington. Died in Rome 1874.

Marker is at the intersection of Quaker Hill Road and Ladiesburg Road, on the right when traveling north on Quaker Hill Road.
