Bldg. 32, UWF John C. Pace Library

Named for the first UWF Board member, the John C. Pace University Library was built in the geometric center of the campus to serve as the University's visual focal point. With an open ground floor designed for future expansion, the library housed book stacks, study carrels, a circulation desk, departments, offices, and services. The architects were the firm of Look and Morrison--Jimmy Look and Stewart Morrison.

The growth of University enrollment necessitated the library's expansion in 1992 to include additional space for book stacks, study tables, and the always-in-demand study carrels.

Today, the John C. Pace Library continues to serve as the visual and educational center of the UWF campus.
