Bushy Run Battlefield
British and Americans under Col. Henry Bouquet defeated the Indians here, August 5-6, 1763, during the Pontiac War, and lifted the siege of Ft. Pitt.
Marker is at the intersection of Bushy Run Road (Pennsylvania Route 993) and Harrison Avenue (Pennsylvania Route 130), on the right when traveling west on Bushy Run Road.
