Carver Bridge

Carver, first supervisor of the

Town of Carmel, drowned there in

1824. It is now under 50 feet of

water one half mile to the south.

Marker is at the intersection of Carmel-Kent Cliffs Road (New York Route 301) and Belden Road, on the right when traveling south on Carmel-Kent Cliffs Road.
