Chester Station Fight
At this station, two miles west, the Union army of the James, turning toward Richmond, fought an action on May 10, 1864 and tore up the railroad.
Marker is on Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. 1) 0.1 miles south of West Hundred Road (Virginia Route 10), on the right when traveling north.
