Jack Anderson

The following are a few of his notable accomplishments prior to his retirement in December 1992.

1970 – Joined Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department

1976 – Appointed first full time Fire Chief

1978-1992 – County Coordinator for Office of Emergency Services

1981 – Expanded county ambulance service to the Divide

Constructed five fire stations on the Divide.

Continual upgrading of apparatus
