County Court House

County Court House

Was built in 1814 and the jail was added in 1855. There was one hanging in 1844 and it is today the second oldest working court house in New York State.

Marker is at the intersection of Gleneida Avenue (New York Route 52) and Carmel-Kent Cliffs Road (New York Route 301), on the right when traveling north on Gleneida Avenue.
