Within this small park was built the first home, which also served as the first courthouse and post office, the first store and the first fraternal lodge.
Dedicated to the pioneers of civic progress by order of the park board.
Marker is at the intersection of N. Houston Street (Texas Route 354) and Main Street, on the right when traveling south on N. Houston Street.
