Dogtown - Fish Hatchery School

District No. 9

Originally at the NW corner of Fish Hatchery and Lacy Roads, the Dogtown School was later relocated ½ mile north and called the Fish Hatchery School. In 1919 a new building was built at the original site. This building burned in 1937. A third building was constructed after the fire. The original school was moved to Whalen Road in 1989.

Marker is at the intersection of Lacy Road and Fish Hatchery and Lacy Roads, on the right when traveling south on Lacy Road.
