Drug Store / Bakery

Circa 1940

In the 1940's the place to go was Leonard Patty's soda fountain and drug store. This was the first soda fountain in town and served up all the favorites for quenching thirst in those days, including phosphates and sodas of all varieties – lemon, vanilla and cherry. This building has had several uses, including a bakery, an American Legion hall, and a residence.

Marker is on North Sandhill Boulevard, on the right when traveling north.
