Eliza Lewis

First wife of Wm.C.C. Claiborne, first American governor of Louisiana. Also memorialized here are her son and her brother, Micajah Green Lewis, who died in a duel defending the honor of his brother-in-law, Benjamin Latrobe, noted architect, designed the memorial.
