Evancheck Cabin

This was a typical homesteaders' residence in the late 19th century. The Evancheck family donated the cabin in 1994 and it was reassembled on Stephenson Island. It had been in their family for almost a century.
Marker can be reached from U.S. 41, on the left when traveling east.
