Farm Ford
July 21, 1861
Here, about 11:00 a.m., Col. William T. Sherman led his four regiments across Bull Run and joined the Union drive toward Henry Hill. Later that day the ford was used again, this time by the retreating Union army.
Marker can be reached from Lee Highway (U.S. 29), on the right when traveling west.
