Federal Grain Inspection ServiceDuring December 1977, a series of devastating grain elevator explosions resulted in the death of thirteen USDA employees working for the Federal Grain Inspection Service. On this 25th anniversary of their sacrifice, we dedicate this Bradford Pear Tree to the memory of those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
