First Tuberculosis Sanatorium
1,000 feet East a small group of tents erected May, 1910 by the
Anti Tuberculosis Association of Jefferson County
constituted the first effort to aid victims of tuberculosis in North Alabama.
Marker is on Fairway Drive east of Cahaba Road, on the right when traveling east.
