Fountain Fire Vista Point
This facility is dedicated to the men and women,
who battled the 1992 Fountain Fire,
and those who have worked and are working
to restore this forest to a healthy and productive part
of the local ecosystem.
During the dangerous salvage operations after the fire,
three loggers lost their lives. They were
