Glazer Children's Museum

The Glazer Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit educational and cultural resource with the mission to create learning environments where children play, discover, and connect to the world around them to develop as lifelong learners and leaders. Since the Glazer Children’s Museum was established in 1985 as The Children’s Museum of Tampa, it has evolved into one of the largest and highest quality public resources for early childhood education and hands-on learning in Tampa Bay. Since opening in the new location in Downtown Tampa, the Museum has enjoyed an average visitation of 210,000 guests annually.

From humble beginnings in a small storefront location, the Museum provided exhibits that gave children a safe place to learn through play. For 29 years, the Museum has established impactful partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other not-for-profit organizations to ensure that all children have access to the Museum’s rich educational tools that focus on themed exhibit areas, dramatic play, sensory exploration, math, science, and the arts.
