Frederick Douglass often visited Quaker Wm. Hallock who induced him to reject John Brown's violent plans to free the slaves.
Marker is at the intersection of Rush-Lima Road (New York Route 15A) and Keyes Road, on the right when traveling north on Rush-Lima Road.
