Hardscrabble Hill
An ancient name for this hill on the old road to Frenchtown. It possibly got its name for the difficulty that horses had pulling a wagon to the top of the hill. It was also known as "Grays Hill".
Marker is on Hardscrabble Hill Road, on the right when traveling west.
