These regiments were engaged here at about 11.30 a.m. April 6, 1862. They advanced with McClernand's forward movement at 12 m., then moved to right, and at about 12.30 p.m. fell back across Tilghman Creek.
Marker can be reached from Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road Extension 0.1 miles north of Corinth Road, on the right when traveling north.
