"Jenkins Fort"

One of the Revolutionary defenses of

Wyoming against the invasion of the

British, Indians, and Tories.

Constructed - 1776 - Burned - 1778.

Erected by Dial Rock Chapter

Daughters of the American

Revolution, Oct 12 - 1900.

May the sacrifice and sufferings

of a patriot ancestry be ever

remembered by their descendants.

Marker is at the intersection of Wyoming Street (U.S. 11) and Exeter Avenue (State Highway 92), on the right when traveling west on Wyoming Street.
