This brigade, its regiments in order from left to right as above, came up with and reenforced the brigades of Cleburne and Anderson at this place about 9 A.M. April 6, 1862. The three brigades commingled and renewed the attack and at 10 A.M. drove back the Union line from its position at Shiloh Church.
The 154th Tenn., on the right, passed east of Rhea House and assisted in the capture of two guns of Waterhouse's battery. The next position of brigade was near cross roads.
Marker is on Corinth Road 0.1 miles north of Peabody Road, on the left when traveling north.
