Joseph W. Palmer
Served 1777 and 1778 in
Col. Moses Jaque’s
New Jersey Regiment.
In March 1779 he entered the Navy.
He was wounded by a musket ball
in the right leg from which
he suffered until death in 1851.
Marker is on Bethel Avenue, on the right when traveling north.
