Iowa 150 Celebrate Our State 1846 - 1996
Kellogg Garden Club established in 1945 commemorated Iowa’s 150th Anniversary of statehood with the planting of the common Chokecherry (Prunus Virginiana) a native Iowa tree.
Marker is on Railroad Street near High Street, on the left when traveling east.
