Launch Complex 19 (LC-19)

NASA utilized LC-19 between 1959 to 1966. 27 launches originated from LC-19 including all  10 manned missions during the Gemini era. Project Gemini was NASA's second manned spaceflight program. The objective of Project Gemini was to develop and test the necessary space travel techniques required for the forthcoming Apollo missions to the moon. These groundbreaking achievements included extravehicular spacewalks, orbital docking of  multiple space craft, and prolonged missions to study the effects of weightlessness on the human body.

LC-19 closed following the successful launch of Gemini XI, on November 11, 1966. Although the launch facility has been almost completely dismantled, the white room was disassembled, restored, and moved to the nearby  Air Force Space & Missile Museum
