Lincoln Home National Historic Site

Lincoln Home National Historic Site is part of the National Park System, one of more than 390 parks that are important examples of our nation's heritage. This unit of the National Park Service preserves the home of the nation's 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, and the character of Lincoln's 1860 neighborhood. Lincoln lived at Springfield for most of his adult life. It was here he raised his family, developed his beliefs about freedom and equality, and attained the highest public office in the country.Lincoln Home Tours
