The Linen Department Store was the location where Hank Killam had an "encounter" with a plate-glass window. Hank died of a severe neck laceration on March 17, 1964 in front of the store. The "accident" was ruled a suicide, but remains as a target of various conspiracy theories. It is now the location of the attorney's office McDonald, Fleming, and Moorehead.
