Loxahatchee River Historical Society

Climb to the top of the 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse - a great tour destination and the best view in Palm Beach County. A Museum in a renovated WWII building exhibits "Five Thousand Years on the Loxahatchee," featuring Native American,Pioneer and Military history,a lighthouse movie and museum gift shop. Exterior exhibits include the 1892 Tindall Pioneer Homestead & Native American sites, as well as the Lighthouse and Oil House exhibit. The historic Lighthouse is the centerpiece of the federally designated Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area, one of only three in the entire country.
