M.P. Hernandez
M.P. Hernandez 1812-1876
M. P. Hernandez was born on January 23rd, 1812, in Florida. Although he did not leave many traces of his life, the census records imply that he lived with his older brother Joseph, who worked as a middling merchant. Hernandez died on December 23rd, 1876, just one month shy of 65 years old.
He was buried in St. Michael's Cemetery in a large brownstone above-ground tomb. His marble tombstone is decorated with a cross, a symbol of both resurrection and Christianity. No family members are buried near him.
