This brigade, with its regiments in order from left to right as above, was engaged here at 4.30 p.m. April 6, 1862. The left of the brigade swung back to connect with 2d Division and bivouacked on that line Sunday night.
Marker is on Hamburg-Savannah Road 0.3 miles south of State Highway 22, on the right when traveling south.
