At 12 P.M., April 6, 1862 this brigade, with its regiments in order as above, charged the enemy and recovered its camp. Its right regiments, assisted by 11th Iowa, captured Cobb's Kentucky battery of six guns near this place.
Marker is at the intersection of Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road Extension and Sherman Road, on the right when traveling south on Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road Extension.
