National Historic Landmark - Abbott Farm

Abbott Farm is the largest known Middle Woodland (ca. 500 B.C.-500 A.D.) village site in the coastal Mid-Atlantic/New England region.

This property became the focal point of a famous 40-year controversy about the antiquity of human occupation of the New World.

More than 100 books and articles have been published on Abbott Farm, one of the country's most famous archeological sites.
