National Historic Landmark - Berkely
This rectangular 2-1/2-story Georgian house (1726) was the birthplace and lifelong home of Benjamin Harrison V (1726-1791), a member of the Continental Congress (1774-78), a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and Governor of Virginia (1782-84). It was also the birthplace and boyhood home of his son, William Henry Harrison (1773-1841), ninth President of the United States (1841).
