National Historic Landmark - Cleveland Arcade

Completed in 1890, this is one of the few 19th-century glass-covered areas in America--an engineering marvel in its day.

The building is shaped around a grand esplanade 300 feet long, surrounded by 5 tiers of galleries, crowned by a skylight of glass and steel 60 feet wide, 290 feet long and 104 feet above the ground.
