National Historic Landmark- Corliss-Carrington House

Completed in 1812, this is a superb example of a large brick Adamesque-Federal style town house, with little-altered interiors and exterior.

Its main facade is dominated by a 2-story porch with super-imposed Corinthian and Ionic iron columns.
