National Historic Landmark-Crater Lake Superintendent Residence
National Historic Landmark-Crater Lake Superintendent's Residence
Built in the 1930s, this is the only building of the Munson Valley group, originally one of the best-designed rustic developments in a National Park that retains near-original condition.
Its unusual method of construction was devised for the extremely short building season.
Construction documents have been prepared for the rehabilitation of the residence.
Oversight of design work has been provided the NPS PWR Seattle historical architect.
Consultation with the SHPO has occurred throughout project development. Construction is expected to occur in 2005.
