National Historic Landmark-Fort Crown Point

Fort Crown Point is the architectural and archeological type specimen for further study of 18th-century military engineering, in a ruined but otherwise undisturbed state.

The fort played a major role in the French and Indian War/Seven Years’ War. The major fortification was destroyed by fire in 1773.
