National Historic Landmark - Hyde Hall

National Historic Landmark - Hyde Hall

Built in 1817, this is one of the finest American houses that combine the architectural traditions of England and America.

The grace of a high-style English country home is blended with solidity of a frontier dwelling.

It is completely documented, containing many of its original furnishings, and is one of the few surviving works of Philip Hooker.
