National Historic Landmark - New York Botanical Garden

Established in 1896, this exemplary institution soon became one of the leading botanical gardens in the world, a position it still maintains.

Within its 230 acres are one of the world's largest herbariums, research laboratories, an extensive botanical library and museum, and an extraordinary Victorian-era glass conservatory.
