National Historic Landmark-Price Tower
The Price Tower is nationally significant as one of two completed designs for high-rise buildings during Frank Lloyd Wright's long career, and the only one that might be appropriately termed a skyscraper.
It was one of a group of sixteen Wright buildings singled-out in 1959 by the American Institute of Architects and the National Trust for Historic Preservation as his most important to the nation [and]...which ought to be preserved in their original form.
