National Historic Landmark- Printzhof

Constructed about 1643 of hewn logs, the Printzhof was the residence of Johan Printz, Governor of New Sweden, the first permanent European settlement in what was to become Pennsylvania. Today, the only visible remains of the settlement are the stone foundations of this house.
