National Historic Landmark-Ringling Bros. Circus Winter Quarters

From 1884 until 1918, these structures served as the winter headquarters for the Ringling Brothers Circus. By 1900, the Ringling Brothers had built their circus into one of the largest on the circuit; in 1907, with the purchase of the Barnum and Bailey Circus, they owned the largest circus combine in history. The two circuses were operated separately until 1919, when the Brothers consolidated their holdings.
