National Historic Landmark-Saint Mark's Episcopal Church

National Historic Landmark- Saint Mark's Episcopal Church (Jim Thorpe)

Designed (1865-1869) late in Richard Upjohn's career, St. Mark's is an unusual design set in the side of a hill. Commissioned by the philanthropist, Asa Packer, one of America's richest men of the time, the church is beautifully appointed and maintained in this picturesque Pennsylvania village on the Lehigh River.
